Using The UA Leadership Development Model, the purpose of LeadUP is to train, educate, and develop students to become leaders in the priorities of self, others, and the organization. The cohort model series will cover topics such as leadership development, building community, inclusion, and engagement.
Learn: Providing learning opportunities for students to explore their strengths and values to be ethical leaders who epitomize the ideal professionalism.
Empower: Empowering personal development and strength in character to increase students’ knowledge of leadership development.
Apply: By using the leadership model, students will be allowed to apply and create positive change within themselves, the community, and others.
Develop: Students will be able to develop a deeper knowledge of leadership identity through civic responsibility, community engagement, and diversity.
Applications for the Spring 2024 cohort are currently open. LeadUP will take place on Tuesdays from 12 – 1 p.m. starting Tuesday, January 30 and running through Tuesday, March 5.
