In conjunction with Fraternity and Sorority Life, Tied with the Tide is a program for all students participating in early move in due to various activities to make new friends and learn about various resources at the Capstone.

Participation

All Tied with the Tide events are FREE for all University of Alabama students. Just bring yourself and we’ll provide everything else!
No. We are a department on campus whose sole purpose is to create a space for students to connect outside of the classroom. All you have to do is show up!

University Programs Events

All you’ll need is your event pass through mySource to check in to University Programs events. To download your event pass, go to mysource.ua.edu, log in with your myBama credentials, go to the top right corner, click on the initial icon, and download your event pass. You can take a screenshot or add to your wallet. You will use this pass all year long!

Yes! We will be hosting Weeks of Welcome to help get you plugged in right away.

We also host our UP Engage series every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the fall and spring semesters featuring events such as watch parties, tailgates, comedy shows, Mardi Gras, Fright Mania, and more.
